The Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball team has entered the digital fray. The Lady Raiders have introduced the Lady Raider Nation app for Apple iTunes Friday and it's the first mobile app dedicated to women's basketball in the Big 12 Conference. The app is free for users of iTunes.

We wanted to create a way for our fans everywhere to be able to keep up with us on their mobile device,” Texas Tech head coach Kristy Curry said.

It seems like there is an app for everything these days – so we figured why not have one for the Texas Tech Lady Raiders?”

The app keeps users up to date on news for the Lady Raiders and will soon be available on Android and Blackberry devices. The app is compatible on the iPhone 3GS or later, 3rd generation iPod's or later, and all iPads. Apple devices require iOS 4.0 or later for the app to work.

The app was designed by ACS Athletics and connects fans to any coach or player's biography, pictures of the team, and videos of the Lady Raiders. The app is also connected to texastech.com and features information on game days.

To download the app, you can click on the link to download the free app https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ladyraiders/id568139315?mt=8 or search “Texas Tech” on the iTunes store.
