Tubby Smith and the Texas Tech men's basketball team play host to the No. 17 Oklahoma Sooners with an early 11 a.m. start, and Candi Whitaker's Lady Raiders host the Texas Longhorns at the United Supermarkets Arena beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Tech (12-15, 2-12) is looking to snap a four-game losing streak. The Sooners (20-8, 9-5) have won six of their last seven games including a 71-69 win over Texas Tuesday.

The last time these two squads met, January 28, OU hammered Tech winning by 45 points at the Lloyd Noble Center 81-36. It was the lowest offensive output by the Red Raiders to date.

Robert Turner and Stan Mays both scored eight points to lead the Red Raiders in scoring.Three Sooners, led by Ryan Spangler and his 20 points, scored in double figures.  Buddy Hield and Isiah Cousins added 15 and 13 points respectively.

The Lady Raiders (15-11, 5-9) have won two of their last three Big 12 games losing to No.3 Baylor 67-60 Wednesday. Texas (17-8, 6-8) has won two straight including a 76-58 home victory over Kansas State Wednesday.

The Longhorns defeated the Lady Raiders 55-44 in Austin on January 17.

Amber Battle paced Tech with 10 points. Nekia Jones led the balanced Longhorn attack with 11 points.
