Hyatt Show on Wednesday to talk about the upcoming series of community outreach camps that are happening at three selected Boys & Girls Club locations in Lubbock. The camps are for kids entering first grade through sixth. The cost of the camp is just five-dollars and each participant will receive a camp t-shirt, however,enrollment is already full. Gillispie and the Texas Tech men's basketball program will visit the Wilson, Optimist and Phea Boys & Girls Clubs, and the outreach camps are designed to provide an opportunity for local youth to receive basketball instruction from the Texas Tech coaching staff, current and former players.

Coach Gillispie also touched on the upcoming Red Raider basketball season as well as what interaction he and the coaching staff are allowed to have with the players right now. He also gave a very "political" response on his top Lubbock restaurants.
