Texas Tech Men’s Basketball Tips Off Season Tonight

The Texas Tech men’s basketball will get their first live action against another team tonight as they take on Southeastern Oklahoma State in an exhibition. 

Head coach Tubby Smith enters the season with the school's best recruiting class in a decade.  It's a class that features two junior college transfers in Devaugntah Williams and Justin Jamison, along with five freshman in Keenan Evans, Justin Gray, Isaiah Manderson, Norense Odiase and Zach Smith.  But he must also find the formula to replace 64% of the team's offense.

Texas Tech comes into this season with three seniors in Luke Adams, Clark Lammert and Robert Turner and a red-shirt junior Toddrick Gotcher.  Texas Tech will also gain the services of red-shirt sophomore Aaron Ross, who is rehabbing a knee injury and should join the squad in January.

Tip off for this game is set for 7pm at the United Supermarket Arena in Lubbock.  The game is free and open to the public and will not be televised or broadcast on the radio.
