The Texas Tech Red Raider baseball team continued to play well this past weekend as they were able to post their second series win of the season over Oral Roberts.  Head coach Tim Tadlock and company won the three game series by scores of 3-2, 7-2, and 4-1 as the pitching was strong once again.  Tech's pitching staff, which has a 1.14 ERA this season, allowed just three earned runs during 27 innings against the Golden Eagles this weekend.

On the offensive side, the Red Raiders have been led by Adam Kirsch who has a team leading .391 batting average along with a .652 slugging percentage.  Tyler Nelsony also hit well as he knocked a grad slam which broke a 1-1 tie in Saturday's 7-2 win.  The Red Raider have really turned it around from the plate since being shutout in the season opener against Indiana, as they have racked up 37 runs during their last six games (all wins).

Texas Tech will conclude their eight-game home stand when they host BYU on Monday,  with first pitch set for 1pm.  The Red Raiders will then take the road for the first time this season play at Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 27 - 12:30 p.m.) before playing at the Houston College Classic against Houston (Feb. 28 - 12:05 p.m.), Sam Houston State (Mar. 1 - 12:05 p.m.) and Rice (Mar. 2 - 1:35 p.m.).
