The one positive constant of the Red Raiders last season was the offensive line and Running Back DeAndre Washington. Washington ran for 1,103 yards in 2014, and this year's offensive line hopes to build on that for the upcoming season.

One of the stalwarts of the offensive line, Jared Kaster, told 1340 The Fan's Rob Snyder and Aaron Brodie about the mentality of the unit.

"We're a group that if you don't stick together it's not going to go well," Kaster said. "I think that room that we have in there is bunch of guys that love the game of football. They love the game and they just love hitting people."

Kaster also elaborated on the epidemic of penalties the Red Raiders saw in 2014 and how the team will try to curb them this season.

"You have to go back and really look at what's going on with the team. If its off the field issues or getting things in order with schooling, its the little things that transition into Saturdays. That's one thing this senior group has really took pride in and trying to hold everyone on the team accountable."
