The accolades for Texas Tech offensive Lineman LaAdrian Waddle continue to stack up as he was recently named Texas Tech's only representative to the Pre-Season All-Big 12 first team. Waddle, who has already found his way onto the Outland Trophy and Lombardi Award watch lists, looks to have a phenomenal season, and anchor the Texas Tech offensive line.

The rest of the Big 12 Pre-Season team has some big names on it as well with, Gino Smith from West Virginia leading the way at the quarterback position, and was named the Big 12 offensive player of the year. Alex Okafor from the University of Texas was named the defensive player of the year. Freshman wide receiver Trey Metoyer of Oklahoma is the preseason Newcomer of the Year.

With Texas Tech football a little over a month away, how are you feeling about Texas Tech football with just one member on the all conference team?
