Texas Tech freshman offensive lineman Le'Raven Clark became the second O-lineman honored this week after being named second team Freshman All-America by Scout.com.

He became the first-ever offensive lineman at Tech to receiver Freshman All-America honors.

Clark started all 12 games at right guard for the Red Raiders this season, and helped pave the way for aTech rushing attack that gained 1,674 yards this season. That’s the most rushing yard for the Red Raiders in a regular season since 1998 (2,219).

In addition, Texas Tech finished the regular season with at least one rushing touchdown in eight consecutive games.

Texas Tech is preparing for their December 28th bowl game in Houston, where the Red Raiders will face the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the Meineke Car Care Bowl.
