Texas Tech Red Raider Baseball Defeats Florida Gulf Coast 11-4

The Texas Tech Red Raiders improved to 13-8 on the season with an 11-4 victory over Florida Gulf Coast. Texas Tech had a strong offensive performance as well as a strong performance from starting pitcher David Paiz. Paiz had a season high 70 pitches with 5 strikeouts and just one walk allowed.

Offensively the Red Raiders used big third and fourth innings, scoring 4 runs in both. Scott LeJeune paved the way offensively hitting 2-5 with 3 RBI. Barret Barnes also had a solid game going 2-3 with two runs and an RBI.

On the night, 10 Red Raiders recorded at least one base hit. Texas Tech and Florida Gulf Coast will conclude their midweek series with a 6pm first pitch. Check out more stats here.
