The awards are continuing to pour in for Texas Tech Red Raider baseball player Jamodrick McGruder as he was recently named to his third All-American team.

Early this year, McGruder was also named to an All-American team by Baseball America and National College Baseball Writers Association. McGruder is the first Red Raider to be named to three All-American teams since Cameron Blair accomplished the same feat back in 2005.

Aside from receiving a slew of postseason honors, McGruder was also picked up in the ninth round by the Seattle Mariners after finishing the season batting .358 with 54 runs, eight triples, 45 walks, .500 on-base percentage and 39 stolen bases.

McGruder finished his Tech batting .325, with 139 runs, 15 doubles, 15 triples, 11 home runs, 88 RBI, and 110 walks.
