Texas Tech Red Raider Standout Barret Barnes Continues To Recieve Preseason Awards

Red Raider Barret Barnes continues to be a bright spot for Texas Tech. Yesterday Barnes was named the No. 8 outfielder in the country among collegiate players by Perfect Game in its preseason Power Rankings at each position. Barnes was also named a preseason All-American by College Sports Madness, who have him ranked as the number 14th college first basemen for the upcoming draft in the MLB. College Sports Madness has also selected Barnes as a preseason all Big 12 first team selection.

Several other Tech players have also been given preseason awards and named to award watch lists.
