Texas Tech Soccer Extends Winning Streak to Nine After Two Weekend Wins

#6 Texas Tech Soccer extended their season-opening winning streak to nine after two wins in Stillwater this past weekend.

The Red Raiders beat Tulsa 3-1 Friday night and Memphis 1-0 last night to improve their record to (9-0-0). Both games were played at Oklahoma State as part of the Oklahoma State Invitational.

In Friday's win, Janine Beckie (pictured) scored 2 goals on 5 shots and in the game against Memphis, Alli Murphy scored the lone Tech goal.

Goalkeeper Lauren Watson stopped 8 shots in Sunday's shutout against Memphis.

The Red Raiders open Big 12 Conference play Friday, September 26 at Texas.  The match kicks off at 7p and will be televised on the Longhorn Network.
