The Teas Tech soccer team’s second round match of the NCAA Championship has been set.

The Red Raiders are coming of the programs first ever appearance/ NCAA postseason win, defeating North Texas 2-0 at the John Walker Soccer Complex.

Texas Tech will travel to Tallahassee for a Friday night showdown against Florida State. First kick from the Seminole Soccer Complex is set for 7 p.m. The winner of Friday’s match will advance to the third round scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. also being played at the Seminole Soccer Complex.

No. 1-seed Florida State defeated Mississippi Valley State 6-0 in its opening round match in Tallahassee.

Friday's NCAA Second Round game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
