Texas Tech Softball Heads for Oklahoma

The Red Raider softball team returns to the diamond from the road Thursday afternoon to begin a three-game series against No. 5/7 Oklahoma.

Texas Tech will be looking to continue its 13-game winning streak when first pitch gets underway Thursday at 7 p.m.

The Red Raiders victory over Iowa State last Sunday was the team’s 30^th win on the season, marking the first time since 1997-99 that the program has recorded three-straight 30-win seasons.

Texas Tech has historically struggled against the Sooners, who own a 31-6 all-time advantage in the series.

Oklahoma and Texas Tech will play the rest of the series Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 12 p.m.
