The Texas Tech Red Raider Men's Basketball team lost to the Texas Longhorns for the 26th time in the last 30 meetings between the two schools 74-57 in Austin Saturday night.

Clint Chapman led the Longhorns (14-9, 4-6 Big 12) with 20 points while pulling down nine rebounds as Texas Tech (7-15, 0-10) guard Ty Nurse led the Red Raiders with 18 points for a team that has lost 10 consecutive games, the worst since the 1999-2000 season.

Texas has only won twice in the past seven games, but all of the losses have come to teams ranked in the Top 25 and four of the losses to teams in the Top 10. Texas Tech returns to the court Tuesday night on the road at Kansas State.
