Texas Tech Suspends Three Players For Bowl Game For Violation Of Team Rules

Texas Tech football players Cornelius Douglas, Chris Payne and Leon Mackey have been suspended from playing in the Meineke Car Care of Texas Bowl game for violation of team rules.
Football team spokesman Blayne Beal did not disclosed the details on the rules that the players broke. The Red Raiders will take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday in Houston. Kickoff is at 8 pm.
