Texas Tech Tennis Opens Spring Season Ranked 22nd; Women Ranked 46th

The Texas Tech Red Raider Tennis team opens the spring season ranked 22nd nationally in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Rankings.

Four other Big 12 Conference members made the Top 25 with Baylor at No. 5, Texas A&M at 11, Oklahoma 18, and Texas 19. Texas Tech will open the season in Coral Gables, FL this Thursday with Miami, Illinois, and Texas A&M at the Hurricane Invitational.

Texas Tech Women’s Tennis opens the spring season with their highest pre-season ranking ever at No. 46. The Lady Raiders open the 2012 spring season in Orlando, FL at the UCF Invitational where they will play Central Florida and Rice.

Three Big 12 Conference members made the Women’s Top 25 rankings with Baylor at 6, Texas at 21, and Oklahoma at No. 25.
