The Texas Tech Red Raider and Lady Raider Track Field stayed in the Top 15 of the national rankings this week.

Both squads are No. 14 in the latest United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association computer rankings released on Tuesday morning. Texas Tech is one of just two Big 12 schools to have both its men's and women's teams in the top 15.

The Red Raider Track program has appeared in the Top 20 for 34 straight weeks and 48 straight appearances in the Top 25, dating back to the 2008 season.

The Red Raiders appear at No. 14 for the second consecutive week after appearing at No. 16 in the outdoor preseason rankings. Meanwhile, the Lady Raiders fell one spot after climbing to No. 13 last week.

Both teams are preparing to compete in the UT Invitational this Saturday in Austin as they broke records this past weekend at the Texas Tech Open in Lubbock.
