Texas Tech Red Raider Volleyball used all 5 sets last night to beat Baylor 3-2 (25-13, 18-25, 26-24, 10-25, 15-13) at the United Spirit Arena.  The win is Tech's first Big 12 win of the season.  They are tied for last place in the Big 12 Conference with 1-8 conference record with a 15-9 overall record.

"To go battle in a fifth set against a really good Baylor team, that was a barrier that we needed to overcome and I was proud of how our team handled it," Texas Tech Head Coach Don Flora told TexasTech.com. "We knew we would eventually put everything together to earn that first victory, so I hope this is the first of many."

Amanda Dowdy led the Red Raiders with 16 kills and Breeann Davis had 15 kills.

Texas Tech gets the weekend off and their next game is next Wednesday at Texas A&M.
