Texas Tech volleyball head coach Don Flora announced the signing of four future student-athletes to national letters of intent Wednesday.

Joining the Red Raiders next fall are Emily Ehrle, Brianna Grant, Emily Ruetter and Meghan Stacy.

The signing class marked the second of Flora’s tenure as the first-year head coach signed four current freshmen during last year’s spring signing period.

Tech’s 2012 class will join with several walk-ons next fall, giving Flora additional depth along the front row as the group consists of two outside hitters (Ehrle, Stacy), a middle blocker (Grant), and a setter (Ruetter).

The signing-day announcement came just a few hours prior to the Red Raiders facing the 8th-ranked Texas Longhorns inside the United Spirit Arena, with a 6:30 p.m. start.
