Texas Tech's non-conference schedule can be considered a success after a 49-14 victory over New Mexico on Saturday night.  The Red Raiders improve to 3-0 as Seth Doege threw a career high, six touchdown passes.  In the last two years, Doege has thrown 11 touchdown passes against New Mexico.  Doege also threw for 340 yards in the game which put him over 5,000 career passing yards.  Doege's 5,289 career yards surpassed Sonny Cumbie at 8th on Tech's all-time passing yards list.

In injury news, redshirt freshman, Jeremy Reynolds will undergo a MRI on Sunday.  Reynolds was carted off the field in the second quarter of Saturday's game after suffering a right knee injury on kickoff coverage.

Texas Tech has next week off, before playing at Iowa State on September 29 to open up the Big 12 portion of their schedule.
