LBS scored the game-winning goal with just two seconds remaining and snap the Red Raider's three-match winning streak.  The 49'ers game-winner came off the foot of midfielder Mimi Rangel as the 49'ers scored two unanswered goals to put the game out of reach.

Texas Tech took an early lead in the match with a goal from Paige Strahan in the 35th minute of play.  It was the first goal of the season for the junior midfielder.  Long Beach State bounced back though as they tied the game in the opening minutes of the second half, which was the first goal given up by the Texas Tech defense this year.

With the loss, the team drops to 3-1-0 on the year while suffering just their second loss at the John Walker Soccer Complex in 15 matches dating back to October 2011.  They will be back in action with two home matches next weekend against Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Northridge.
