The #14 ranked Texas Tech women's soccer team took on the Horned Frogs from TCU on Friday night in the team's third Big 12 match.  Tech was coming off a 0-0 tie with Oklahoma State with that game coming from Stillwater Oklahoma on September 29th.

Ali Murphy would get the offense going for Texas Tech as at 18:11 mark in the match she kicked in her fourth goal of the year on a long cross from the left side. The score would put the Red Raiders up 1-0.  Maddy Crabtree (Pictured on the right) would seal the match for Tech as she knocked in her third goal of the 2013 season at the 38:15 mark as she followed up a header attempt that was missed by Ali Murphy.

The Horned Frogs could never get a goal past the Texas Tech defense as the team would go on to win the match with a 2-0 final.  The victory moves the Red Raider soccer team to 12-1-1 and 2-0-1 in conference play on the 2013 season as TCU falls to 4-7-2 on the year and 0-2-0 in Big 12 matches.  Tech will be back in action this Sunday as Arkansas-Pine Bluff comes to Lubbock.  First kick is set for 1pm from the John Walker Soccer Complex on the Texas Tech campus.
