The Dallas Mavericks have had a tough couple of games as of late. The Mavs have lost two straight games on last second scores to the Lakers and to the Clippers. They nearly did the same thing against the Jazz, but managed to hold on for the win 94-91.

Shawn Marion had a season high 22 points, Rodrigue Beaubois added 17 points while Dirk Nowitzki had 12 points for the Mavericks. The Mavericks shot 52% from the floor, and 25% from three point range. The Mavs lost the rebound battle big time, 33 to Utah's 44, but still managed to come out with a win.

The defending NBA champs are working towards a repeat, but have had issues winning close games. A win like last night's is a good sign for Mavericks fans.
