The First Trailer for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ [VIDEO]

The third and final Christopher Nolan Batman movie is still a year away from being released and the first trailer is now public.  "The Dark Knight" was one of the highest grossing movies over the past decade and "The Dark Knight Rises" looks to be just as good.

This trailer features three characters Commissioner Gordon, Batman and the villain Bane.

Bane is one of the newer Batman characters who received top billing in the Knightfall saga in the Batman comics of the 1990s.  It looks like they have stayed true to his character from the snippet shown in the trailer.

"The Dark Knight Rises" is to be released in July of 2012.
