Last week, the offense exploded on all cylinders with a 58-10 victory over Texas State.  Head Coach Tommy Tuberville announced on Tuesday that defensive back Cornelius Douglas will not play against the Lobos this week.  He's been held out of practice this week after suffering an abdominal injury against Texas State. "Bruce Jones will be starter (in place of Douglas), who we played last week.  Bruce played most of the game.  He's got a lot of quickness," Tuberville said.

Tuberville also named Cody Davis the Defensive Player of the Week after his interception return for a touchdown against Texas State.

The Red Raiders' all-time record vs. New Mexico is  36-6-2 as Tech has won three straight in the series since 2009.  Kickoff on Saturday night is 6pm at Jones AT&T Stadium. The FAN's Countdown to Kickoff starts at 3pm and don't forget FAN Feedback immediately after the game from The Roof.
