Carlos Corporan and J.D. Martinez led the team offensively as they both hit homeruns and were responsible for 5 of the 7 runs scored by Houston.  It was almost all for not when defending Triple Crown winner Miguel Cabrera stepped into the box with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 9th. If it hadn't been for Astros back up center fielder Brandon Barnes making a spectacular game ending catch on the warning track, Houston would have suffered their seventh consecutive loss.

Dallas Keuchel was the starter for the Astros.  He was able to go 5.2 innings while giving up 7 hits and 4 earned runs.  Keuchel was not awarded the win however.  That went to reliever Hector Ambriz.  The Houston Astros will look to start a win streak as they travel to PNC Park to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates.  First pitch is set for Friday at 6:05pm.
