They lost all four games over the weekend by a combined score of 22-11 in those games.  The pitching hopes to improve as they start a midweek series against the Oakland Athletics.

Houston will send right-hander Jordan Lyles will square off against A's right-hander Bartolo Colon.  The A's are looking forward to a series with the last place Astros as they are just 4-7 in their last eleven games.  They also have owned Houston this year as they've won all but one of the meetings between the division foes.

As far as the offense goes for Houston, they are looking for help where ever they can find it.  As a team they are hitting just .235 which is only better than the Miami Marlins who are batting .230.  First pitch is set for 9:05 pm from O.co Coliseum in Oakland.
