The Houston Astros Start a Three Game Series Against the Oakland Athletics

The Houston Astros will face off against the Oakland Athletics Friday night from Minute Maid Park in.  The A's have given Houston more problems than any of their American League foes this year.

The Astros are a combined 0-6 on the season against Oakland and their starting pitchers have a 12.36 ERA in those six games.  The offense has been struggling as well hitting only .233 against the A's this year while their hitters have a batting average of .314 against Houston.

Erik Bedard will be on the mound for the Astros opposite Tommy Milone who is the starter for Oakland.  The first game of this series is scheduled for Friday with the first pitch set to go off at 7:10 pm.
