Bedard(Pictured on the Right) is looking to put together back to back wins as he defeat the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in his last start on June 3.  He will be going against Royals starter Ervin Santana who has struggled as of late as he is 0-4 in his last six starts.  Santana like Bedard hasn't exactly had the best offense behind him this year.  Santana has received the least run support of any American League pitcher with at least eight starts on the season.

Houston's offense will hope to get going as well as they are ranked just 20th in the league in batting average with a .245 average as a team.  First pitch is set for 6:15 pm on FOX from Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
