The Houston Texans are currently on a bye week as they are trying to rebound from their 31-21 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles this past Sunday.

That doesn't mean this week will be short of headlines though, as Head coach Bill O'Brien made the announcement on Wednesday that he has decided to go with Ryan Mallett at quarterback.

"I just felt like in the best interest of the team," O'Brien said.  "This is the decision I needed to make."  The Texans have a bye in Week 9, and will face the Browns in Cleveland on November 16th.  The Texans acquired Mallett in a late August trade with New England, sending a sixth round pick to the Patriots.
