The Texas Tech Lady Raider's struggles continued over the weekend as they dropped their ninth straight game at the hands of the #20 ranked Iowa State Cyclones.  Amber Battle led the team once again as she poured in 24 points but the Cyclones were too much as they pulled away in OT for 85-76 victory.

Iowa State would hold Tech without a field goal for 3:13 in overtime and opened the extra frame with a 9-2 run.  They would eventually out score the Lady Raiders 13-4 in OT to pull out the win.  With the loss, Candi Whitaker has now fallen to 6-13 on the year and 0-8 in conference play in her first year as head coach.  She will try to get her team back on track this week when they head to Baylor to take on the Lady Bears.  Tip off for that game is set for 7pm from the Ferrell Center in Waco.
