Head coach Candi Whitaker and the Lady Raiders were held to just 16 first-half points. While they were able to score twice as many points in the second half (32), they could not overcome the 21-point first half deficit.  Hallie Christofferson led the way for the Cyclones as she poured in 22 points along with five rebounds on their way to the victory.

Offensively for Texas Tech, Marina Lizarazu (pictured on the left) led the team with ten points as she was the only Lady Raider to score in double digits.  The team had one of its worst outings of the year as they combined for just six assists while committing 18 turnovers.  Candi Whitaker's ball club also struggled from long distance as they shot just 1-10 from 3-point range.

The Lady Raiders will try and get their season back on track on Saturday when they travel to Lawrence, Kansas to take on the Jayhawks with tip off for that game is set for 7pm from Allen Field House.
