The Texas Tech Lady Raiders are currently in the midst of probably the worst stretch of loss this program has ever had.  Up to this point first year head coach Candi Whitaker's team is just 6-20 and still have not won a game in conference play.  The team has now lost 16 straight games, with 15 of losses coming at the hands of Big 12 opponents.

That being said, the team still has a few more chances to end their season on a good note.  That brings us to Wednesday night's contest.  Texas Tech heads to Morgantown, West Virgina to take on the #11 ranked Mountaineers.  West Virgina was able to come away with a win in Lubbock back on January 22nd by a score of 70-51.  The Lady Raiders have won before at WVU Coliseum as they beat West Virgina in overtime last season by a score of 77-73 in the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

Tip off for Wednesday night's game is set for 6pm from WVU Coliseum in Morgantown.
