Tiger Woods has had another amazing golf season, if your not counting majors.  He has won five different tournaments this season including last weeks WGC-Bridgestone Invitational where he has won the event eight times and is ranked number one according to the PGA Tour golf rankings.  Tiger is still looking for that elusive 15th major victory though as he is in the middle of his worst major drought in his career and Oak Hill Country Club will not make things any easier for him.

Vegas odds makers have Tiger at a 4 to 1 favorite with his rival Phil Mickelson the next closest at 15 to 1.  With his recent major struggles though, one would think the safe bet would be taking the field in this one.  Woods last major victory came at Torrey Pines Golf Course in the 2008 PGA Championship.  Since then, his life has been one of speculation and turmoil to say they least.  He is still considered the best golfer in the world, but the fear or pressure he use to be able to instill in other players has basically vanished.

He will have to dig deep and find some of that old Tiger if he wants to end his major drought this weekend in Rochester, New York .  The PGA Championships get underway today and can be seen throughout the weekend on TNT.
