The Texas Tech men's basketball team is looking to go into the Big 12 tournament with some momentum as they wrap up Big 12 play this weekend when they host the Texas Longhorns.  Tubby Smith and company lost a close one down in Austin back on January 11th by a final score of 67-64.  Jaye Crockett and Robert Turner led the team that game as both scored 19 points in the loss.

Texas comes in looking to build off a 66-54 win over the TCU Horned Frogs when they take on the Red Raiders on Saturday.  On the season, the Longhorns are 22-8 and 11-6 in Big 12 play.  As for Tubby Smith's team, they come in trying to end a six game losing skid as they sit at just 13-17 on the year and just 5-10 in conference play.  Tip off for Saturday's game is set for 3pm from the United Spirit Arena and can be seen on ESPNews.
