The San Antonio Spurs Beat the Dallas Mavericks 112-106 on Sunday
San Antonio Spur's guard Tony Parker made an impressive return from a six game absence on Sunday night as he scored 22 points on the way to a 112-106 win over the Dallas Mavericks. He had been held out recently due to an number of different injuries, but was finally able to go on Sunday night.
"I think it was a little bit of (a physical and mental rest)," Parker said. "Pop, I trust his judgment. I didn't want to admit it to myself. But maybe I was tired mentally. It's a lot of basketball the last three years with no break; the (French) national team and NBA. It definitely helped, I felt fresh."
Tim Duncan scored 17 points and Kawhi Leonard added 16 for the Spurs who notched their third straight win on Sunday. They currently sit at 43-16 on the season which is the second best record in the Western Conference and three games ahead of the Houston Rockets in the division.
