The San Antonio Spurs entered Sunday on a three game win streak and were looking to extend it as they took on the New York Knicks.  That is exactly what they would do as they would blow out the Knicks in Madison Square Garden by a score of 120-89.

On the offensive end, Danny Green had 24 points and a career-high 10 rebounds in the Spurs' fourth straight victory. Kawhi Leonard added 18 points and Tony Parker had 17 in a game that was close for about three minutes. San Antonio scored the first 10 points, led by as many as 37, and was in complete control for the majority of the game.

"It was embarrassing for us to come here on our home court and lose a game like this," Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony said. "It wasn't about losing the game, it was just how we lost the game. We didn't compete today and it showed out there on the court."  The San Antonio defense was the real story of the game as they held the Knicks to just 37.8% shooting from the field.  They also were able to keep all star Carmelo Anthony out of any kind of rhythm as he would finish the game 5-10 from the floor for 16 points.

The win marks the fourth straight game in a row the Spurs have come out victorious.  They will now move on to Philadelphia to take on the 76er's on Monday night.  Tip off for that game is set for 6 pm from the Wells Fargo Center and can be seen on FOX Sports SW.
