In Tony Parkers return from a one game absence, he netted 31 points, and helped drive the Spurs to a 112-97 victory over the Washington Wizards. Parker missed Friday's game, a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers with a strained quadriceps. On the night parker was 13-18 from the field and added 7 assists for the Spurs. Tiago Splitter also chipped in 17 points, Tim Duncan added in 14 more, and DeJuan Blair contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds.

Also coming out of the Spurs camp was news that guard T.J Ford was retiring, effective immediately. Ford, who is just 28 years old, has suffered a series of neck and spinal chord injuries over the course of his 8 year NBA career, and decided the strain was too much on his body. More news on that can be found here.

The Spurs continue their hot steak, pushing their win streak over the Wizards to 12 games.
