The biggest story of the game was the statistics from the 3-point range.  San Antonio outscored Memphis 42-15 from deep.  Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, and Matt Bonner all had at least three 3-point baskets made in the game as the Spurs went 14-29 as a team from long distance.  Their low post defense was also key in the victory as they were able to hold Memphis Grizzlies' Center Zach "Z-Bo" Randolph to a career playoff low of two points on 1-8 shooting.

Game 2 tip-off is set for Tuesday night at 8pm from San Antonio and can be seen on ESPN.
