The Texas Rangers fell back another game to the division leading Oakland A's on Tuesday as they struggle offensively in their 8-3 loss to the Baltimore Orioles.  Former Ranger Nelson Cruz made his former team pay yesterday as he hit a shot deep into the left-field seats for a three-run home run to help seal the win.

Texas starter Joe Saunders had a solid outing as he went six innings while giving up just two runs on ten hits, but it was the bullpen that let this game slip away.  The trio of Alexi Ogando, Neal Cotts and Shawn Tolleson combined to give up six runs to allow the Orioles to run away with the 8-3 victory.

Adrian Beltre led the way offensively as he went 3 for 4 with a solo home run, but other than him the rest of the Ranger line up combined to go 4-27 from the plate.  With the loss, Texas is now 29-29 on the season which is seven games back of Oakland in the division.  They will continue their series with Baltimore today with first pitch for that game set for 7:05pm from Globe Life Park in Arlington and can be seen on FOX Sports SW.
