The Texas Rangers snapped their four game losing streak in impressive fashion yesterday as they beat the Chicago White Sox by a final score of 16-0 on Tuesday night.  Colby Lewis (pictured on the right) was on the mound for Texas as he had his best outing of the year.  He threw a complete game shutout while allowing just six hits and striking out seven in the win.  Chicago stater John Danks did not have the same success as Lewis on Tuesday as he was shelled for nine runs on eight hits in just over four innings of work.

"All year long, each time he has taken the ball, he has gotten stronger and stronger," manager Ron Washington said.  "He is able to trust his body and we know he can pitch. Colby Lewis was the show tonight.  He executed his pitches as well as I've ever seen him.  He stayed focused. He looked like the Colby we know."

Texas will go for the series win today as they wrap up their series with the White Sox.  First pitch for this game is set for 1:10pm from U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago and can be seen on FOX Sports SW.
