The Texas Rangers front office has began to make changes in the clubhouse as they have let two coaches go on Wednesday morning.  Those men were first base coach Dave Anderson and bench coach Jackie Moore.  This comes just a day after manager Ron Washington (Pictured on the left) expressed his desire for the staff to stay together.

GM Jon Daniels had this to say about the move, "both of these are well-respected baseball men. They have put in a lot of hours for us over the years. Both made an impact here, and we are thankful for that.  We have had success as an organization, but you're always looking to improve.  Sometimes you have tough decisions to make. This is not a decision that was made easily.  But we have a responsibility to our organization and our fan base to do what's best, and sometimes you have to make tough calls like this in the name of getting better. This is what it's all about."

Pitching coach Mike Maddux, bullpen coach Andy Hawkins, hitting coach Dave Magadan and third-base coach Gary Pettis are all expected to return for next season.
