The Texas Tech women's basketball team looked to find their first Big 12 win of the season this year when they made the trip to Fort Worth on Saturday to take on TCU.  They fell earlier in the season at home to the Horned Frogs back on January 5th by a score of 65-54.  Saturday's contest were go much of the same way as the Lady Raiders lost for the 13th straight game by a final score of 72-57.

Texas Tech senior center Shauntal Nobles scored 12 points and junior guard Amber Battle added 10 points and eight rebounds in the loss.  "We definitely didn't handle the zone well," Tech head coach Candi Whitaker said.  "We had a hard time attacking it with the short corner and penetrating it when we had opportunities.  You got to give TCU a lot of credit.  They move well in their zone and their length bothered us, but we got to be better players, use more pass fakes, be able to break people down and put something on our passes."

The Lady Raiders will try and snap this losing streak against the top team in the Big 12 in #7 Baylor when they come to town on Wednesday.  The Lady Bears are coming in with a 20-3 overall and a 10-1 conference record with tip off for that game set for 6:30pm from the United Spirit Arena.
