Why Iowa State might win…

The Iowa State Cyclones are undecided at Quarterback between Steele Jantz and Jared Barnett and that could spell trouble. If Barnett starts, then the Cyclones would have a running threat at QB and the strength of the offense is the running game with three solid running backs. If Iowa State keeps it on the ground, they should grind this game and the Tulsa defense into the ground.

Why Tulsa might win…

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have a prolific offense and with new transfer QB Cody Green, from Nebraska, look for this offense to give ISU trouble all afternoon. Tulsa can run the ball and throw it well too out of the spread offense. ISU is shaky on defense with new starters on the defensive line and the secondary.

What will happen

Tulsa will march into Ames Saturday and come out with a big win for their program. They will establish their rhythm early and put Iowa State in a hole without a defined starter at QB.
