Two Members of the Red Raider Soccer Team Selected to Join the U.S. National Soccer

Two members of the Red Raider soccer team have been selected to join U.S. National Soccer teams this spring.

Graduating senior midfielder Taylor Lytle has been selected to join the Under-23 Women's National team, while freshman defender Jaelene Hinkle will join the Under-20 Women's National Team.

Both Lytle and Hinkle have experience playing on the U.S. Youth National teams.

Lytle participated in youth national camps at the age of 15, and was later invited to camp with the U-20 team in 2008. This will mark her second stint with the U-23 squad with her first year with the team coming in 2008 following her sophomore season at Texas Tech.

Meanwhile Hinkle, will be making her second appearance on a national team. The Colorado native was a starting member of the U.S. U-17 World Cup squad in 2009.
