Two Texas Underclassmen Stay in NBA Draft
Texas Men’s Basketball players Tristan Thompson and Cory Joseph announced Monday that they will keep their names in the NBA Draft which ends their college careers.
Thompson and Joseph were freshmen last season for the Texas basketball program and join teammate Jordan Hamilton in leaving the Longhorns early for the NBA.
Thompson averaged 13.3 points 7.8, rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game while Joseph was the leading assist man for Texas with 3.0 assists per game to go along with 10.4 points a contest.
Thompson was the Big 12 freshman of the year last season for the 28-8 Longhorns.
