Tyler Green belted a career high two home runs in the St. Louis Cardinals 8-1 victory over the Houston Astros.

Before the matchup with the Cardinals the Astros had been on a five game winning streak. The Cardinals got back on the winning track after snapping a three game skid.

The unfortunate statistic coming out of the game was that the Astros actually got 8 hits on the night, stranding 7 runners on base. The Astros haven't had the best bats all season long, but stranding 7 runners on base is not going to win many games in the majors. Starter J.A Happ got hammered, allowing six hits and a career high six runs, in just five innings of work.

The Astros are without a doubt better than they were last season, but are still experiencing a ton of growing pains. What do you think about Houston's prospects of making it to postseason play?
