The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents have finished their meeting in Tulsa.  After taking care of routine agenda items, the board met in executive session to discuss conference realignment.

After meeting for more than an hour, the OU Board of Regents emerged from Executive Session and then voted on one motion related to conference realignment.

The motion passed, authorizing OU-Norman President David Boren to take appropriate action related to conference realignment.  Jake Trotter also reports Boren admitted to having discussions with the PAC-12, "have had informal conversations with PAC-12. Those conversations have been warm, constructive."

The University of Texas Board of Regents also held their own meeting today and they authorized UT-Austin President Bill Powers to also explore conference realignment as well.

The Oklahoma A&M (State) Board of Regents have scheduled a special meeting for Wednesday to also discuss conference realignment.
