Texas Tech’s Vaughnte Dorsey Gives Thumbs Up While Taken Off Field on Stretcher [Video]

Update: According to Vaughnte Dorsey himself, he’s OK.

After the Red Raiders beat the Houston Cougars 27-24, the Texas Tech safety tweeted that he was “good” after being carted off the field in the 4th quarter.

Original Story:

Texas Tech Safety Vaughnte Dorsey suffered an injury that required him to be carted off the field during a play at the Houston Cougars game on Saturday.

Dorsey made a tackle on the sideline during a kickoff return in the 4th quarter. It appeared that a Houston’s player’s knee hit Dorsey’s neck or helmet.

As of now, there’s no information available as to Dorsey’s exact injury or the severity of it. However, he was visibly moving while being taken off the field on a stretcher, and raised his arm to give the crowd a ‘thumbs up.’
